Though not completely based on Mr. Hartman and his efforts to, as he states, "put a spotlight on kindness," Uplift Media certainly takes some inspiration and aligns perfectly in the undertaking. In fact, when searching for good news stories, his videos come up more often than any other source. They are so abundant and good that we've had to intentionally not post some in effort to keep from duplicating his efforts and relying on him solely.  We are clearly not the only fans of him and his amazing news segment called, " On the Road with Steve Hartman " as he was recognized recently by the Canterbury School on March 6, 2024 hailing him as the "King of Kindness" . Being a kid comes with enough challenges to ones self esteem even in normal circumstances. Most people experience a wide range of coincidences where things just seem to work out in an unexpected but pleasant way. As such he covered Bruno Serato back in 2010 highlighting this restaurant owner and chef for his philanthropy and penchant for feeding poor kids at the local Boys and Girls Clubs in the city of Anaheim, CA. His restaurant, The White House, was where he entertained the higher society individuals and made his money, AKA his day job. However, his passion and love for feeding these kids often required that he make large financial sacrifices. He refinanced the restaurant and his home in order to continue operating his charity.
