Ten Year Old Reporter

 Good reporters with poise and professionalism are normally seasoned with years of experience. It makes sense, especially when dealing with celebrities, that one would have to work through rookie jitters and get a few exchanges under their belt before becoming truly polished. But even then, broadcasting professionals can still struggle and fumble with words or even become star struck themselves. Not the case at all for Jeremiah Fennell, a ten year old boy with a passion to become a sports reporter. 

After his initial interview with Davante Adams broke the internet, the young man was invited to appear on Fox & Friends where a befuddled and seasoned broadcast team peppered him with questions about his ability to be so poised and professional. "I was just there talking to him [Davante] like a normal reporter. I wasn't really scared because in the end we are all people." Amazed with the maturity that is clearly beyond his years Rachel Campos-Duffy stated, "I feel like you should be giving a master class on broadcasting. One of our colleagues is a sports reporter himself, Will Cane, and he said he was flabbergasted at how you framed your questions and how you were able to illicit answers that other people couldn't get out of that player."

The interview goes on to speculate about the Raiders potentially picking up quarterback legend Tom Brady. Jeremiah responds with his approval if that happens since Tom has always been his favorite QB, the Raiders have always been his favorite team, and would therefore be delighted if the two favorites came together. But without missing a beat, he then said, "and hey, maybe I'd get to interview him." 

If this is how Fennell starts out of the gate an interview with Tom and many others is just inevitable regardless of the moving parts involved. One of the comments under the YouTube video states it best, "This child is a breath of fresh air. He's intelligent. His smile is infectious." Still another comment read, "I couldn't get enough of this smart young man, I just subscribed to his channel so I can watch this kid flourish and develop in his young career." That sentiment is very much a shared one.
